Extractions

Unfortunately, tooth extractions are a fairly common procedure and can be done with traditional novocaine here at Saddle Brook Family Dentistry. When tooth decay, nerve exposures or fractures occur rendering a tooth non-restorable, extraction is the best option.

After extractions you may need to rest or slow down your busy schedule for a day or two.  You can expect for the extraction site to bleed for a little while. Gauze will be applied at the completion of the procedure, and you may need to change it periodically.
